Ojcow National Park and Pieskowa Skala Castle tour

Ojcow National Park (Ojcowski Park Narodowy) is one of the most enchanting of the 23 Polish national parks. On our tour you will see the extraordinary rock formations of the Jurassic limestone (including the famous Hercules'Club), magnificent medieval castle, and many caves inhabited by 17 species of bats. Moreover, the reserve is inhabited by 120 species of birds and dozens of mammals. Ojców National Park is a perfect destination for those searching for active recreation and a real contact with nature.

The castle in Pieskowa Skala is a part of defensive chain, The Trail of the Eagles' Nets, built by Polish King, Kazimierz Wielki in the middle of XIV century. Although it was built in medieval style, in XVI century it was rebuilt into renaissance style by Niccolò Castiglione. You'll find there also a baroque elements- bastion fortification, gate and a chapel built by Michal Zebrzydowski in XVII century. Many of castles from Eagles' Nets chain survived only as picturesque ruins, but it doesn't applicable the Castle in Pieskowa Skala. Nowadays you'll find there museum divided in four parts and you'll have chance to enjoy breathtaking views.
